Last week, the condominium management market in Brazil's North and Northeast regions played host to intense debate on innovation, professionalisation and the future of management. The NewSun Energy Group made a strategic appearance at two of the sector's most significant events: Gábor pelo Brasil, in Fortaleza (CE), and CONASI, in Belém (PA).

Beyond presenting clean energy solutions, NewSun immersed itself in the day-to-day routine of local managers to understand the challenges facing regions dealing with tariff rises above inflation and growing demand for modernisation.

High-Level Networking: The Gábor Dinner in Fortaleza

The agenda began on Friday, 27 March, in the sophisticated setting of Vasto Restaurante, in Fortaleza. The Gábor pelo Brasil event, led by Ricardo Karpat (a national reference in condominium management), brought together around 80 of the sector's leading figures from Ceará and the Northeast.

The focus of the gathering was quality networking. In an environment well suited to exchanging experiences, NewSun's CEO, Fernando Berteli, gave a key presentation on sustainable development. The highlight was a reflection on the role of the property manager as a "mini mayor", whose decisions directly influence the economy and quality of life of hundreds of families.

The evening also helped strengthen important regional partnerships, such as the exchange with Priscila Girão, of Clubsin Ceará, a network covering more than 1,500 condominiums, reinforcing NewSun's commitment to the Ceará market at a time of tariff pressure in the state.

Innovation and Interactivity: The CONASI Belém Experience

The following day, 28 March, the team travelled to Pará to take part in CONASI Belém. With an audience of around 200 attendees, the event focused on modernisation and the future of the renewable energy mix in the North region.

NewSun's participation at CONASI stood out for two reasons:

  1. Technical, Human-Centred Content: Fernanda Morais, NewSun's Customer Retention Specialist, spoke about energy efficiency and female leadership. Her talk emphasised that sustainable management goes beyond the numbers, representing a legacy for future generations of residents. The event's organiser, Sérgio Craveiro, visited NewSun's stand to discuss the outlook for solar energy and biogas in the North of the country.

  2. Engagement at the Stand: To bring some lightness to the technical environment, NewSun's stand offered an interactive experience. Visitors received eco-friendly kits (reusable cups and bags) and could try their luck on a claw machine. Prizes included high-tech items such as electric vehicle chargers and bamboo induction chargers, reinforcing the brand's innovative DNA.

Why the North and Northeast now?

NewSun's presence at these events is no coincidence. With Brazil reaching the milestone of 50 GW in distributed generation, states such as Pernambuco and Ceará are projecting electricity bill increases that could exceed 13% in 2026, nearly triple the expected inflation rate.

Being present at Gábor pelo Brasil and CONASI allowed NewSun to show property managers how a clean energy subscription is the fastest and most efficient solution to shield condominium budgets from these increases, without the need to invest in works or equipment of their own.
