NewSun Energy Group's participation in the 28th ECON SECOVI-Goiás, held on 14 and 15 May at Flamboyant Hall in Goiânia, exceeded the company's expectations. The event, which brought together around 700 decision-makers and property and condominium-management professionals over two days, established itself as a strategic platform for discussing the market's key transformations and bringing technological solutions closer to a highly engaged audience.

The final results of the fair demonstrated NewSun's strength and commercial relevance in the region: 85 extremely well-qualified leads were mapped, showing strong interest in contracting in the short term. This significant demand points to the Central-West market's appetite for alternatives that combine energy efficiency with genuine reductions in operating costs.

The consumption revolution without construction work, and protection against tariff bands

Activity at the NewSun stand was intense throughout the event, resulting in 138 exclusive giveaways being distributed and in-depth exchanges of experience with visitors. The standout feature that captured participants' interest was the "tariff band protection" proposal. Amid a national backdrop of climate uncertainty and hydrological fluctuations, the guarantee of progressive savings and budget control immune to traditional tariff bands was widely praised by property managers.

The technical team used the opportunity to address the main questions raised by property managers (síndicos) and management companies. The most frequent questions concerned the operational simplicity of the remote self-generation model (generated by partner biogas plants). Visitors showed great enthusiasm on discovering that the solution requires no investment in equipment (CAPEX), roof works or complex on-site maintenance. The approval process at assembly meetings and the seamless coexistence of the compensation model with the local energy utility were also clarified. The stand also received a distinguished visit from Calil Musse Neto, partner at condominium management firm ABL Prime, who discussed strategic partnerships with NewSun's leadership.

"Condominiums of the Future" and the leadership plan for 2027

On 15 May at 2pm, CEO Fernando Berteli delivered the talk "Condominiums of the Future: Energy, Predictability, Circularity and Sustainable Experience". With a speech focused on governance and innovation, Berteli showed how modern condominiums have established themselves as true "mini-cities" that demand applied intelligence in energy management, waste disposal and electric charging infrastructure. "The modern property manager doesn't just manage expenses. They manage infrastructure, risk and the future," he said, arguing that tomorrow's condominiums will be measured by how much they consume, what they discard and how they move.

The success of the presentation and the strong audience interest drew the organisers' attention, leading the executive to be invited for a special appearance on SECOVI's official podcast. During the recording, broadcast across the employers' association's channels, Berteli detailed NewSun's technological differentiators and the importance of translating the ESG agenda into measurable financial results for management companies. When asked about expectations for the coming years in the region, the CEO was categorical about the growth vision: the target set for SECOVI 2027 is to position NewSun as the largest clean energy retailer in the entire state of Goiás.
