CONASI Rio: NewSun presents subscription energy to Rio de Janeiro property managers
Casos de Sucesso
On 14 August, Downtown Shopping Centre in Barra da Tijuca hosted CONASI Rio de Janeiro 2026 (the National Congress of Property Management Companies and Condominium Managers across Brazil). Bringing together a specialist audience of around 700 people — primarily professional condominium managers, property management companies and experts from the local property sector — the event established itself as one of the state’s leading forums for discussion on governance, modernisation and best practice in building management. This is the fourth CONASI event in which NewSun has taken part.
Energy Efficiency and Subscription Energy at the Heart of the Debate
Keeping pace with the expansion of its presence at the sector’s leading events across the country, NewSun attended with a stand dedicated to building close relationships with building managers and property management companies. In addition to personalised assistance from specialists, who answered questions about operating costs, and the distribution of exclusive eco-friendly bags to delegates, the company brought urgent discussions about the impact of electricity tariffs on shared budgets to the main stage.
The highlight of NewSun’s participation was a talk delivered by Almir Ramos, NewSun’s Expansion Manager. Addressing an attentive audience, Almir shared practical assessments of electricity consumption in condominium communal areas and presented essential energy-efficiency tips for reducing waste from motors, pumps and lighting.
During the presentation, the executive explained in detail how NewSun’s subscription energy model works, showing how condominiums can receive credits from clean, renewable energy plants directly through the distribution network. Almir highlighted the model’s strategic advantages for condominium management: progressive savings, protection against fluctuations in tariff bands and the convenience of a fully digital sign-up process — requiring no financial investment (zero CAPEX), purchase of solar panels, physical changes to the building’s infrastructure or expenditure on equipment maintenance.
NewSun’s participation in CONASI Rio de Janeiro reinforces its commitment to advancing the energy transition and democratising access to sustainability in the condominium market. By transforming a traditionally passive fixed cost into a means of achieving budget predictability and socio-environmental responsibility, NewSun continues to connect Rio de Janeiro’s managers and property management companies with the future of clean, straightforward energy.
