The eighth edition of the National Congress of Property Managers and Building Committee Chairs, held on 22 and 23 May at Hakka Eventos, in Liberdade, São Paulo, marked a historic moment for the NewSun Energy Group. Consolidating its position as the national benchmark in energy transition for the property market, this edition of the congress was officially renamed CONASI NEWSUN. The headline sponsorship not only put the brand front and centre across all visual communication, but also reflected the company's deep alignment with the sector's leading figures and decision-makers across the country.

The event drew hundreds of professionals from across the country, sparking rich discussions about the future of building management, governance and operational efficiency. For NewSun, the participation was extremely positive, opening direct channels to explain its innovative business model, focused on offering clean energy by subscription with no need for works or investment, and to close new long-term contracts and corporate partnerships.

A leading role at the opening and a vision for sustainable management

NewSun's prominent role was evident right from the opening of the panel talks aimed at building committee chairs and property managers. Sérgio Craveiro, founder of CONASI and a pioneer of professional condominium management in Brazil, opened the presentations and invited Almir Ramos, NewSun's Expansion Manager, onto the stage. Almir took the opportunity to deliver an inspiring speech about NewSun's mission to cut through the red tape around green energy, supporting managers in transforming their developments into true smart, resilient "mini-cities".

On the first day of the congress, specialist Fernanda Morais, BDR Pre-Sales Team Leader, gave a well-attended talk on the practical benefits of condominium sustainability. Morais explained how energy by subscription works as a transformation platform, allowing condominiums to cut the fixed costs of common areas without installing solar panels on rooftops or investing in equipment. The presentation highlighted that looking after the budget today and cutting CO₂ emissions go hand in hand in modern management.

An interactive stand experience and new partnerships sealed

In the exhibition hall, NewSun's stand established itself as one of the busiest spots for visitors. The main attraction was an interactive claw machine that challenged participants and handed out prizes ranging from fine chocolates to an electric vehicle charger (wallbox). This playful feature worked as an excellent icebreaker, bringing the audience closer to our staff and sparking productive conversations about how the distributed generation ecosystem works.

Over the two days, the NewSun team had the opportunity to demystify the remote generation offset model and clear up common questions about the relationship with local utility companies. The interaction led to strategic partnerships being sealed with players in the condominium market interested in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
